Prevail Adaptive Sports is seeking a Community Fundraising Sales Rep to help businesses throughout the Lexington area support adaptive sports opportunities for children and adults with disabilities. • Base earnings of $46,800 per year, with high performers earning substantially more. We believe the best way to learn is through real-world experience. Before working independently, each Community Fundraising Representative will complete a 1-day in-person training program alongside an experienced member of the Prevail Adaptive Sports team. During training, you will learn:
• How to confidently approach businesses.
• Effective fundraising and sales techniques.
• How to present the mission of Prevail Adaptive Sports.
• How to answer common questions from businesses.
• Best practices for processing cash and credit card transactions.
• Daily reporting procedures and territory management. All sales during your training will count toward your personal sales totals, ensuring you receive full credit for your efforts while learning the role. Our goal is to equip you with the knowledge, confidence, and hands-on experience needed to be successful from your very first day. We don't expect you to know everything on day one, we're committed to providing the coaching, support, and real-world experience necessary to help you succeed. You will work within an approximate 1.5-hour driving radius of the Lexington area. As a community fundraising rep, you will also receive a daily vehicle/fuel allowance in addition to your pay. No overnight travel is required.
• Visit local businesses throughout your assigned territory.
• Introduce businesses to Prevail Adaptive Sports and our mission.
• Close sales as part of our community fundraising initiative.
• Build lasting relationships with businesses, employees, and owners.
• Maintain accurate sales records.
• Submit periodic sales updates throughout the day via text check-ins.
• Represent Prevail Adaptive Sports professionally at all times.
• Work Monday through Friday.
• Visit businesses throughout your assigned territory.
• Achieve an easily attainable weekly goal.
• Maintain a positive attitude and excellent customer service.
• Participate in virtual training and periodic team meetings. We are looking for someone who is:
