About Us

San Diego Car Sales is a growing independent dealership serving North County San Diego. We focus on clean inventory, straightforward customer service, and a professional buying experience. We are looking for an experienced automotive salesperson ready to join a fast-paced dealership environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers both in-person and via outbound calls, providing expert guidance on our used vehicle inventory.
• Conduct engaging vehicle presentations, highlighting features, benefits, and financing options to close sales effectively.
• Conduct vehicle presentations and test drives
• Manage the entire sales pipeline from initial contact through deal closing, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
• Utilize CRM software to track leads, follow up with prospects, and maintain detailed records of customer interactions.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and customer pipeline updates
• Handle the full customer funnel from lead generation to closing deals
• Upsell additional products and services such as warranties, insurance, and accessories to maximize dealership revenue.
• Negotiate deals confidently with customers, balancing their needs with dealership goals while ensuring transparency.
• Help maintain inventory presentation and lot organization
• Collaborate with inventory management teams to keep stock levels accurate and organized for optimal sales flow.
• Build repeat business and customer referrals, and improve our online reputation and reviews. Skills
• Proven experience in automobile sales or retail sales environments, with a strong understanding of inventory control and management.
• Exceptional communication skills, including public speaking and phone etiquette, to connect effectively with diverse clients.
• Proficiency in CRM software and familiarity with automotive sales processes enhances your efficiency.
• Strong negotiation skills combined with the ability to upsell high-end vehicles and related products confidently.
• Multilingual or bilingual (English and Spanish) abilities are highly valued for engaging a broader customer base.
• Ability to pass a DMV background check and obtain a California salesperson license.
• Valid driver license with clean driving record.
• Professional appearance and attitude.
• Must be ready to start soon. Schedule
• Full-time position.
• Typical shifts are either 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM or 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM.
• Schedule is subject to change based on business needs.
• Average of 8 working hours per day, excluding a 1-hour lunch break.
• Weekends are mandatory working days with the only exceptions when taking extended paid time off.
• One day off per week, chosen from Monday to Thursday.
