Join the Duval Paint & Decorating Team! Duval Paint & Decorating is looking for a dependable, hardworking team member to join our St. Johns Bluff location. This full-time position combines warehouse stocking responsibilities with customer service and sales support, making it a great opportunity for someone who enjoys staying active, helping customers, and learning about paint and coatings. Whether you're organizing inventory, mixing paint, stocking shelves, or helping customers find the right products for their projects, you'll play an important role in delivering the outstanding service Duval Paint has been known for for decades.

What You'll Do

Warehouse & Stock

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and organize incoming merchandise
• Remove products from boxes and pallets
• Inspect merchandise for damage and report defective items
• Scan inventory and maintain accurate inventory records
• Stock shelves, displays, and warehouse storage areas
• Keep the warehouse and sales floor clean, organized, and safe
• Dispose of empty boxes, packaging, and pallets
• Load and unload delivery trucks
• Assist with deliveries as needed Customer Service & Sales Support
• Welcome customers and provide friendly, knowledgeable service
• Help customers identify the right products for their projects
• Prepare paint orders quickly and accurately
• Tint and mix paint to customer specifications
• Pull products from the warehouse and sales floor
• Process customer transactions accurately
• Answer customer questions in person and over the phone
• Maintain attractive product displays and stocked shelves
• Recommend products and services that best meet customer needs
• Assist with inventory control and merchandising
• Participate in team meetings and support fellow associates What We're Looking For
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous retail, warehouse, or customer service experience preferred
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Basic math and computer skills
• Dependable with a strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Willingness to learn about paint, coatings, and home improvement products
• Experience in hardware, plumbing, electrical, paint, or building materials is a plus Physical

Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Frequently lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Occasionally lift up to 70 pounds
