Exciting Opportunity for a Sales Representative in New Jersey! Are you passionate about the Wine & Spirits industry and experienced in the on-premise market? Join our team as a Sales Representative for a leading importer/distributor of Wine & Spirits based in Wayne, NJ. We are looking for a motivated and relationship-driven sales professional to grow our presence in restaurants, lounges, bars, and hospitality venues throughout New Jersey. Established client base in New Jersey strongly preferred. As a Sales Representative, you will play a key role in driving business growth and building long-term relationships within the hospitality industry. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Identifying, qualifying, and closing new on-premise business opportunities Maintaining and expanding our portfolio within existing restaurant and hospitality accounts Building strong relationships with restaurant owners, beverage directors, sommeliers, and managers Conducting tastings and promotional events Collaborating with accounts to develop wine programs and menu placements Maintaining excellent customer service and account follow-up Demonstrating a self-starter mentality to achieve and exceed sales goals Attending quarterly meetings and supplier events as needed

Requirements

for the position: Must have previous wine sales experience Strong wine knowledge required Existing restaurant and hospitality relationships in New York and/or New Jersey preferred Must be 21 years or older Possess a valid Driver's License Ability to secure a State Alcohol Solicitor's Permit Strong communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills General computer proficiency This is a full-time position with opportunities for career growth within a dynamic and growing Wine & Spirits company.
