Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Catering Sales Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience doing banquet event orders, event billing, onsite management, and collaboration with hotel operations teams. The Catering Sales Manager will also be responsible for booking short- term meetings with a quick turnaround. Knowledge of CRM software such as CI/TY, along with excellent negotiation and customer service skills, is essential to succeed in this position.

Responsibilities

:

• Coordinate with clients to finalize meeting details to include room setups, food and beverage needs.
• Create and distribute detailed Banquet Event Orders for hotel operation teams.
• Serve as the on-site point of contact for meeting planners, addressing issues, ensuring client satisfaction by coordinating with the hotel's food and beverage team to ensure that all events are executed flawlessly.
• Prepare proposals and contracts for clients.
• Manage the catering sales process from start to finish, including follow-up and post-event evaluation.
• Attend industry events and trade shows to network and generate new business.
• Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices.

Requirements

:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in detailing events, preferably in a hotel setting, with banquet event orders
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and catering software
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed. Pay: $53,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
