Job Title: Carrier Sales Representative Job summary: The primary duty of the Carrier Sales Representative is to develop relationships with prospective carriers to generate repeat sales and maximize Pickett Logistics margins.

Essential Functions

of the Job:

• Generate new carrier base via load boards, networking, and cold calling
• Negotiate contract and spot market lanes with carriers
• Communicate shipment specific details directly to carrier and driver via various methods
• Work closely with ops team to ensure that customer expectations and delivery requirements are met
• Complete accurate and timely scheduling and dispatching of trucks to ensure that the flow of product in and out meets customer demands.
• Monitor shipments from pickup through delivery so that accurate, up-to-date information can be provided regarding any shipment (Track & Trace) Skills Required to Perform the

Afterhours and/or weekends may be required to meet customer's needs. Preferences: 1-year transportation and logistics experience Job Type: Full-time Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
