Baer's Furniture is searching for an experienced luxury rug and sales specialist. Our Candidate will be a creative professional that will help our guests incorporate fashionable design elements, turning their house into the home of their dreams. Essential Job Functions Assist clients with design in selecting fine rugs, carpeting, floorings Provide design ideas that best suit the needs of the client Communicate and provide excellent customer service and follow up with clients Create and maintain customer base Visit client space for appointments and consultation if needed Ability to create the need for products and services. Demonstrate strong communication and listening skills Ability to learn multiple flooring manufacturers The ability to match color, pattern, and style from a designer's point of view. Create sales through influencing the customer's decision-making process Perform additional functions that may be assigned by management Job

Requirements

Minimum 2 years proven retail sales experience Design experience is a plus Proficient computer skills and the ability to learn new programs. Flexibility to work retail schedule that includes nights, weekends, and holidays Frequently move about the showroom over 810-hour period to attend customer's needs Walking, standing or sitting for extended period of time as needed when working with the customer Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $15.00 per hour
