A retail leader is looking for an operationally strong Assistant Manager with a focus on all aspects of store performance and customer care. Assistant Manager Key Activities/

Responsibilities

• Drive sales by engaging both customers and associates
• Ensure that every associate uses our core values and principles to deliver a positive, friendly, and pleasant experience while exceeding our customers' expectations
• Train, develop and inspire employees to create a fun and respectful environment
• Drive store cleanliness, signing, pricing, fully stocked shelves, floor plans, merchandising plans, professional appearance of our team, and how we greet our customers
• Act as a coach and resource to each store employee to help inspire the success of the store
• Ensure that all associates are trained in salesmanship, product knowledge, and customer service
• Support a strong commitment to world-class customer service through the use of excellent service skills by all associates
• Execute proper staffing of store based on customer shopping patterns, daily sales, and customer service requirements
• Ensure proper resolution of all associate complaints and other opportunities

Duties

as assigned Assistant Manager Education, Experience, and Skillset

• HS diploma required
• Experience in driving sales and achieving sales goals
• Retail management experience
• Proven leadership skills, including mentoring, coaching and people management skills
• Excellent problem-solving and organizational abilities
• Strong communication skills and customer focus
• Ability to work varied hours/days as business dictates, including early morning, night, and weekend shifts.
• Proficient in MS Office and other software
• Ability to lift, push, or pull over 45 lbs Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 45 per week
