Gulf Coast Building Products is a fast growing and busy wholesale building products distributor. We are looking for an experienced Full Time Inside Sales Person. The ideal candidate is prolific at data entry, enjoys customer contact and can multitask in a fast pace environment. Business hours are 7AM - 4PM Monday through Friday. There will be some overtime, but we do pay 1.5X for overtime hours with weekly paychecks. Educational

Requirements

High school Completion We engage in face to face, phone, and electronic sales assistance by utilizing exceptional customer service skills to meet and/or exceed customer expectations.

Duties

include but are not limited to: Customer Service

• Acknowledge, greet and assist walk-in customers in a timely and professional manner
• Handle telephone and electronic inquiries and orders efficiently and effectively
• Identify the needs and provide the appropriate level of assistance to the customer
• Effectively research and resolve customer complaints and conflicts Sales Expectations
• Develop knowledge of all products that we sell
• Understand local market needs and related pricing
• Work to exceed customer expectations
• Quote follow up - quote to order conversion
