Job Description

Job Title: Bilingual Insurance Agent (English/Spanish)

Job Summary

: We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Bilingual Insurance Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate is fluent in both English and Spanish and is responsible for assisting clients with their insurance needs by providing exceptional service, educating customers on available coverage options, and helping them select policies that best fit their needs.

Key Responsibilities

:

• Assist English- and Spanish-speaking clients with insurance quotes, policy changes, renewals, and claims.
• Sell and service auto, home, renters, commercial, and other insurance products.
• Explain policy coverages, exclusions, deductibles, and premiums in a clear and professional manner.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
• Generate new business through referrals, networking, and outbound sales activities.
• Follow up on leads and cross-sell additional insurance products.
• Process applications, endorsements, cancellations, and policy renewals accurately.
• Maintain compliance with state insurance regulations and company guidelines.
• Keep detailed records of client interactions using agency management software.
• Meet or exceed sales and customer service goals.

Qualifications

:

• Fluent in English and Spanish (spoken and written).
• Active Property & Casualty insurance license (440 required).
• Previous insurance or sales experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and agency management systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred Skills:
• Sales-oriented with a consultative approach.
• Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills.
• Ability to build trust and long-term client relationships.
• Detail-oriented with excellent time management.
