Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and personable Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will engage with customers, assist them in selecting products, and facilitate sales transactions. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, a solid understanding of retail sales processes, and familiarity with financial transactions within a retail environment. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop sales expertise while contributing to a welcoming shopping experience.

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and provide knowledgeable assistance regarding product options and features
• Process sales transactions accurately using cash handling and cashiering procedures
• Assist customers with financing options, including loan processing when applicable
• Maintain organized merchandise displays and ensure the sales floor is inviting and well-stocked.
• Utilize retail math skills for pricing, discounts, and inventory management
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction

Qualifications

• Proven experience in retail sales or customer service roles
• Familiarity with banking procedures related to cash handling and cashiering
• Knowledge of financial software or point-of-sale systems preferred
• Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor
• Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately under pressure
