True Pet Kitchens San Diego, CA Full-Time | $20/hour + Uncapped Sales Commission Love pets and enjoy talking with people? We're looking for energetic, personable team members who enjoy sales, customer interaction, and educating pet parents. True Pet Kitchens is hiring an outgoing, dependable Farmers Market Sales Managers to represent our premium pet wellness brand at farmers markets throughout San Diego County. This is not a typical retail jobyou'll be part of a growing local business focused on premium nutrition and wellness products for dogs and cats. Our farmers market booths are fast-paced, social, and highly interactiveperfect for someone who enjoys talking with people, working independently, and being around dogs all day. Weekend market shifts begin as early as 5:30 AM, depending on the market schedule. Candidates should be comfortable with early morning starts and weekend availability. Full-time hours are created through a combination of farmers market shifts, special events, deliveries, inventory support, and other company projects. This is not a traditional retail position where all hours are worked at a single location. Our products include premium treats, toppers, wellness supplements, CBD products, algae omega oil, and moreall made with high-quality ingredients and without feed-grade fillers or preservatives. Comprehensive product and pet nutrition training is provided, no previous pet nutrition experience is required.

What You'll Do

• Proactively engage customers, start conversations, educate pet parents, and recommend products based on their pets' individual needs.
• Help drive sales through product education and exceptional customer service.
• Represent True Pet Kitchens professionally and enthusiastically.
• Create a positive, welcoming experience for customers and their pets.
• Process payments using Square POS.
• Maintain clean, organized product displays.
• Assist with inventory, restocking, deliveries, and booth organization.
• Drive a company van to and from farmers markets, transporting products, equipment, and supplies.
• Receive paid training and shadow shifts before independently running your own market.
• After training, independently set up and break down farmers market booths, including tents, tables, displays, and inventory, while representing the company professionally.

• Carlsbad Market assignments and schedules may vary based on availability and staffing needs, and additional market opportunities may become available. Team members must be comfortable starting weekend market shifts as early as 5:30 AM, depending on the market schedule.

Qualifications

• Friendly, outgoing, and reliable.
• Comfortable speaking with customers throughout the day.
• Passion for pets and animal wellness.
• Able to stand for several hours outdoors.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Saturday and Sunday availability is required.
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
• Retail, farmers market, pet industry, or commission-based sales experience is a plus.
• Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and reliable personal transportation required. Team members must be able to travel to our kitchen to pick up the company van before driving to and from farmers markets.
