Full description of the position

A Sales Representative is responsible for facilitating bulk wholesale transactions of our products, including flower, trim, shake, oil, and concentrates. This role ensures all sales comply with industry regulations. This role is also responsible for making sales forecasts, tracking sales and applying them to sales goals, maintaining current & future inventory lists, and meeting with all types of customers, including brands, distributors, manufacturers, and extraction labs.

• Build and maintain relationships with wholesale clients and distributors.
• Generate new business opportunities and expand our client base.
• Negotiate and close sales deals with potential customers. Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement effective sales strategies.
• Provide excellent customer service and address any inquiries or concerns promptly.
• Occasionally drive a company vehicle for showings and deliveries.
• Prepare delivery reports and any other documentation related to delivery activities.
• Verify orders before and after delivery for accuracy, completeness, correct charges, and client satisfaction.Occasionally weigh and package products.
• Enter sales into SAP.
• Conduct cold calls to generate leads.
• Collect money and checks for sales.
• Maintain a safe driving record in accordance with company standards.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in B2B sales or bulk sales.
• Strong industry relationships with buyers, brands, and owners.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities.
• Self-motivated and driven to achieve sales targets.
• Knowledge of the cannabis industry and products (preferred, but not required)
• Knowledgeable and proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Work Environment

• This position may located be in an indoor manufacturing facility with controlled temperatures; may be exposed to bright lighting, loud equipment, airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and working in proximity with staff and vendors.
• This job also operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copiers, filing cabinets and may work in proximity with customers and staff.

Requirements

• Work revolves around objectives, projects, and priorities, not hours; must be able to work weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime as needed.
• Must be able to travel to other office and/or client locations throughout the state of California.
• Must be able to stand, walk, lift, sit, and bend for a majority of their work schedule.
• Ability to use a computer and calculator for 8 hours or more.
• Required to have a valid driver's license with acceptable driving history. Must have own transportation.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must comply with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry.
