Job description: We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales Representative specializing in Heavy Equipment Parts to join our growing team. Duties

• Engage with customers to understand their heavy equipment parts requirements through active listening and consultative selling techniques
• Promote and sell a comprehensive range of heavy machinery parts, ensuring customer needs are met efficiently and accurately
• Manage inventory levels using inventory management systems (such as CMMS) to ensure stock availability and optimal order fulfillment
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with clients to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining profitability
• Process sales transactions accurately via point-of-sale (POS) systems, handle cash and card payments, and maintain precise cash handling records
• Coordinate with warehouse staff for stock stocking, order fulfillment, and inventory control to ensure timely delivery of parts
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries promptly, offering technical advice on automotive diagnostics, vehicle maintenance, and repair procedures
• Utilize marketing strategies to promote special offers or new product lines to existing and prospective clients
• Maintain detailed records of sales activities, customer interactions, and inventory using organizational tools like Microsoft Excel or dealership management software

Qualifications

• Proven experience in retail sales, dealership environments, or heavy equipment parts sales is highly preferred
• Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics, vehicle maintenance, automotive repair, and automotive service concepts
• Excellent negotiation skills coupled with effective communication skills in multiple languages (bilingual/multilingual abilities are a plus)
• Familiarity with inventory management systems such as CMMS or similar platforms; experience with POS systems is advantageous
• Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to manage stock levels, order fulfillment processes, and maintain accurate records
• Basic math skills including retail math for calculating discounts, pricing strategies, and inventory valuation
• Ability to handle cashiering duties confidently while maintaining professionalism with customers during phone etiquette interactions
• Experience in dealership sales management or retail marketing is beneficial but not mandatory
