- Who We're Looking For The Outside Sales Representative Southeast Region is responsible for driving new business growth by identifying, developing, and closing strategic opportunities across an assigned territory. This role manages the full sales cycle, from prospecting and relationship building through proposal development, contract negotiation, and close. The ideal candidate is a consultative sales professional with a proven ability to generate new business, manage complex sales cycles, and establish trusted relationships with executive-level decision-makers. This individual thrives in a competitive environment, brings disciplined pipeline management, and is motivated by creating long-term value for customers. Candidates must reside in North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Kentucky, Tennessee, or Alabama.
- What You'll Be Doing
- Develop and execute a strategic territory plan to identify, prioritize, and secure high-value business opportunities
- Prospect and generate new opportunities through cold outreach, networking, referrals, industry events, and other business-development activities
- Manage the complete sales cycle from lead qualification through proposal development, contract negotiation, and close
- Conduct discovery meetings, presentations, and solution-based sales discussions with executive-level decision-makers
- Build long-term customer relationships that support new business acquisition, account expansion, and retention
- Manage complex, long-cycle sales opportunities that may exceed $2.5 million in contract value
- Collaborate with Marketing, Operations, Customer Operations, and implementation partners to support a seamless customer onboarding experience
- Maintain accurate opportunity, pipeline, forecast, and account information within the company's CRM platform
- Deliver timely and accurate revenue forecasts that provide visibility into deal progression and territory performance
- Monitor market conditions, competitive activity, and customer needs to identify new growth opportunities
- Represent Waste Harmonics Keter with professionalism, credibility, and executive presence
- Travel throughout the assigned territory to meet with customers and prospects while balancing field activity with administrative and pipeline-management responsibilities
- Achieve or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals while maintaining strong pipeline health and forecast accuracy
- What You'll Bring to the Table
- Bachelor's degree required
- Minimum of 5 years of successful B2B or service-based outside sales experience
- Proven experience generating new business through hunting and full-cycle sales
- Consistent record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas in competitive markets
- Experience managing complex, long-cycle sales opportunities from prospecting through contract execution
- Strong consultative, solution-based, and value-driven selling skills
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and executive relationship-management abilities
- Strong business and financial acumen with the ability to structure and position value-based solutions
- Experience managing a geographic territory with regular customer-facing travel
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with disciplined follow-through
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
- Proficiency with CRM systems for pipeline management, forecasting, and reporting
- Preferred Skills
- Experience closing multimillion-dollar or enterprise-level contracts
- Background in waste management, environmental services, facilities management, logistics, or another service-based industry
- Experience selling to enterprise or multi-location organizations
- Proficiency with Salesforce or a comparable CRM platform
- Knowledge of strategic territory planning and client-development methodologies
- Experience supporting both new-business acquisition and account-expansion opportunities
- What's Good to Know
- Candidates must reside in Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Kentucky, Tennessee, or Alabama
- Travel is expected approximately 23 days per week following the initial ramp-up period
- Standard work hours are generally 8:30 a.m.5:00 p.m., with flexibility required for customer engagements, training, and critical business events
- This is a commission-based sales position with significant earning potential tied to performance
- Success will be measured through new-business acquisition, annual contract value, deal size, quota attainment, customer engagement, pipeline health, sales-cycle efficiency, and forecast accuracy
