SALES SPECIALIST - LOCAL OUTREACH The Sales Specialist for Local Outreach focuses on driving revenue by actively engaging with the local community, businesses, and organizations to secure bookings, events and promotional activations. This role bridges the gap between sales strategies and the local community to increase visibility and brand awareness. ABOUT US Central Amusement International Inc. (CAI) is an amusement park development and management company located in New York City. CAI developed Victorian Gardens at Wollman Rink in Central Park in 2003 and Luna Park in Coney Island in 2010, located at the birthplace of the amusement park industry. CAI is part of the Zamperla Group, which is the worldwide leader in amusement rides manufacturing. POSITION DETAILS Title: Sales Specialist Location: Luna Park in Coney Island, 1000 Surf Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11224 Work Schedule: Full-time, Hybrid FLSA Status: Exempt KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Revenue Growth Lead all local group sales strategies, including camps and schools, and deliver sales and revenue targets Develop partnerships with local businesses, organizations, and community members to develop new relationships and events Plan, execute, and manage on-site activations events and networking events to expand the brand's reach Develop and implement outreach programs to expand sales and broaden pipeline for new businesses Lead production requests and negotiations of contracts with producers and film companies. Lead reach out efforts to location scouts toromote LPCI as a location of choice Attend national events and tradeshows to expand your network and increase the brand's presence locally and nationally Develop pricing strategies for all events and analyze results, adjusting strategies as needed Responsible for package creation for group sales, corporate sales, buy outs, productions, birthdays, etc. Develop strategies for revenue-per-head optimization to increase sales with pricing and promotional intiatives Evalulate the profitability of an event with comparison of total revenue and costs; determine the financial success of an event Manage and develop routing rules which overlap with groups, tourism, birthdays, etc. with a predefined criteria to ensure fair distribution Lead routing ownership including ambiguous leads across the team Operations Determine CRM integration needs for event products and implement innovative tools and technology Lead recruitment and hiring efforts for the department and assisting other departments as needed Develop and implement event cancellation and rescheduling policies to ensure consistent framework Develop reporting infrastructure with a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual cadence Collaboration & Continuous Improvement Lead interdepartmental communication to ensure weekly meetings are established with internal stakeholders Assist with day-to-day operations of the park as needed QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Sales management, preferably within hospitality, entertainment, or related industries
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth with local outreach
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, or a related field preferred
- Strong analytical, financial, and data-driven decision-making skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Tripleseat or similar CRM platforms
- Practical knowledge of sales operations and special events
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including occasional weekends and holidays, due to the seasonal and operational needs of the amusement park business COMMISSION
- Commission eligibility and structure will be outlined in a separate written commission agreement. Pay: $66,300.00 - $75,000.00 per year
