Salon Growth Manager & Stylist Moxie Salon & Beauty Bar of South Orange is looking for a driven, high-energy Stylist / Salon Sales Manager who is passionate about delivering exceptional client experiences, growing salon sales, and helping build a high-performing team. This role is ideal for a licensed stylist who thrives behind the chair while also helping drive salon performance, increase memberships, improve guest retention, and support overall business growth. You will work closely with ownership and the team to create an elevated salon experience while helping grow a strong and successful business.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong client relationships and guest experience
• Help lead the salon in achieving daily, weekly, and monthly revenue goals
• Perform high-quality salon services including blowouts, color, cuts, styling, and other licensed services based on your specialty
• Drive membership sales, retail sales, and service upgrades
• Upsell guests on additional services including makeup, lashes, extensions, treatments, and bridal services
• Support front desk operations and overall guest experience when needed
• Promote salon services, specials, and retail offerings through social media and community outreach
• Create and execute local marketing initiatives, cross-promotions, and client acquisition campaigns
• Assist with team motivation, accountability, and overall salon performance
• Handle customer concerns professionally while maintaining a luxury client experience

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey cosmetology license required
• Previous salon leadership, management, or strong sales experience preferred
• Proven ability to drive sales and build long-term client relationships
• Experience with memberships, retail sales, and service upgrades
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Organized, proactive, and highly motivated
