Marubeni-Itochu Steel America (MISA) is part of a global team trading in a wide range of steel products. The MISA team is currently seeking a Sales Coordinator in our Nashville office. The Sales Coordinator will provide support to the sales team in obtaining and keeping customers by managing delivery and performing administrative and clerical tasks. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Serve as the primary contact for customers regarding form order confirmations and forecast requirements, while tracking shipments to ensure timely fulfillment of customer releases.
- Contacts customers/suppliers frequently to answer questions, resolve general problems, and provide/receive general information.
- Oversee, manage, and reconcile inventory levels at processor and warehouses, utilizing data from contracts, purchase orders, shipping and receiving documents, invoices, accounting reports and generated log. Prepares reports such as inventory balance, price lists, and shortages. Reports inventory increases or shortages.
- Coordinate warehousing and transportation. May negotiate rates with freight forwarding companies and track deliveries and shipments to ensure timely arrival of goods in compliance. Prepare shipping documents for customs clearance.
- Other duties as assigned. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: Customer service experience required, including the ability to recognize and satisfy customer requirements and expectations in daily business. The ability to work independently, handle multiple tasks and troubleshoot problems. Excellent communication skills both verbal and written and organizational skills. Experience in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, etc.). EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree or 3 years relevant experience PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Benefits
: Hourly rate or annual base salary determined by experience and work location. Non-exempt roles are required to receive time-and-one-half overtime for time worked in excess of 40 hours in a calendar week. Any time worked between 35 hours and less than 40 hours in a work week will be compensated at straight time (the current hourly rate) unless otherwise required by applicable law. Compensation
