Job Summary

Athena Specialty Group is hiring a Customer Service Representative to join our team. We're building a driven, relationship-focused team. This role is primarily field-based. You'll be out in the community discovering new business opportunities and maintaining relationships with existing referral partners, promoting Athena's comprehensive wound care services throughout your assigned geography. You'll work closely with your Sales Director and Account Executives to execute strategies that grow our presence and referral base in the territory. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, service-oriented, and comfortable spending the majority of their time in the field building relationships face to face.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• New Business Development: identifying, prospecting, and building relationships with new referral sources in the field
• Relationship Maintenance: maintaining and growing established relationships with existing referral partners
• Collaboration: working closely with the Sales Director and Account Executives to align territory strategy, share market intelligence, and support shared referral goals
• Service Knowledge: understanding Athena's services thoroughly enough to communicate their value clearly to partners
• Communication: strong verbal and written skills for engaging referral partners, patients' care teams, and internal team members
• Activity Standards: meeting daily field touchpoint expectations and booking meetings with referral partners
• CRM Usage: using CRM software to manage leads, track interactions, and manage opportunities
• Training: completing Athena's training programs and ongoing skill development
• Reporting: providing regular updates on activities, progress, and challenges to leadership
• Other duties as assigned Minimum

Required Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required
• Geographically located within the assigned territory
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel throughout the territory daily Experience
• Prior field sales, business development, or healthcare-adjacent experience preferred, but not required. We're happy to train the right person. Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
• Successful completion of Athena's training and competency assessments
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong working relationships internally and externally
• Self-motivated with strong daily activity and time management habits
• Willingness to participate in ongoing training and development Language Skills
• English (reading, writing, verbal) PHYSICAL DEMANDS While performing the duties of this job, the employee uses his/her hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, or crouch; talk or hear. The employee uses computer and telephone equipment. Specific vision requirements of this job include close vision and distance vision. Must be able to travel by plane and automobile (if applicable).
