SOC serves a variety of industries, providing expertise in measurement services and custom instrument engineering. Located in San Diego, CA, Surface Optics is proud to support diverse industry applications with innovation and precision. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in San Diego, CA, for a Technical Sales Engineer. The role involves generating sales opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, delivering product demonstrations, providing training, and meeting revenue targets. The position also includes working closely with technical staff to understand product specifications and provide excellent customer service. The successful candidate will engage in consistent communication with prospective and existing customers to identify their needs and deliver tailored solutions.

Qualifications

• Proven skills in Technical Sales and Sales to drive growth and meet targets
• Excellent Customer Service and Communication skills to build and maintain client relationships
• Experience in delivering Training and demonstrations to educate customers about products
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to understand and communicate technical concepts effectively
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, or a related field is preferred
• Experience in industries related to optics, engineering, or advanced technologies is a plus

Compensation

• $75,000+ per year, depending on education and experience
