Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products or answering questions about store merchandise
• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for retail sales transactions, including cash register operations and cash handling
• Upsell products by highlighting features and benefits during customer interactions to maximize sales opportunities
• Conduct product demos when applicable to showcase new or featured items, enhancing customer engagement
• Stock shelves, organize displays, and ensure merchandise is well-presented according to merchandising standards
• Handle cash drawer balancing, perform basic math for transactions, and maintain accurate cash handling procedures
• Provide excellent customer service by maintaining phone etiquette, addressing inquiries professionally, and ensuring customer satisfaction Experience
• Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially in grocery or specialty stores
• Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership in team settings and guiding new staff
• Familiarity with POS systems and cash register operations is highly desirable
• Bilingual abilities are advantageous for serving diverse customer bases effectively
