Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide personalized assistance to enhance their shopping experience
• Demonstrate product features through engaging demos and explain benefits clearly to customers
• Assist with stock replenishment, merchandising, and maintaining organized displays to ensure an attractive store environment
• Operate the cash register efficiently, handling retail sales transactions, cash handling, and POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately
• Upsell products by identifying customer needs and recommending additional items or upgrades
• Manage cashier duties including cash drawer handling, basic math calculations, and processing returns or exchanges
• Maintain excellent phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone or via online communication channels
• Support inventory management by stocking shelves and conducting regular stock checks
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet sales goals and improve store performance

Requirements

• Previous retail sales experience preferred; grocery store experience is a plus
• Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse customers in a bilingual environment (English and other languages) is highly desirable
• Familiarity with POS systems, cash register operations, and retail math for accurate transactions
• Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly, professional attitude
• Ability to handle cash handling responsibilities responsibly and accurately
• Experience in merchandising, product demos, upselling techniques, and stock management preferred
• Supervising experience is advantageous for those interested in growth opportunities within the team
