• Manage route driving efficiently to ensure timely delivery of merchandise while adhering to DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and safety standards
• Conduct merchandising activities, including product placement and presentation, to enhance customer experience and drive sales growth
• Apply strong organizational skills to plan daily routes, maintain accurate sales records, and manage inventory levels effectively
• Demonstrate safe lifting practices when handling heavy merchandise or automobile transportation tasks, ensuring safety for yourself and others
• Communicate clearly with customers, team members, and management to provide updates on deliveries, product information, or route changes
• Maintain compliance with all DOT regulations and company policies related to commercial driving and transportation Experience
• Prior experience in sales or customer service roles is highly desirable, showcasing your ability to connect with clients and close deals
• Knowledge of pricing strategies, merchandising techniques, and upselling methods to boost revenue
• Familiarity with automobile transportation logistics or route driving enhances your effectiveness in this role
• Strong math skills for calculating prices, discounts, and managing inventory accurately
• Experience working within military environments or demonstrating discipline and organizational skills beneficial for this position
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience with commercial driving preferred
