The UPS Store of Iowa City and The UPS Store of North Liberty are now hiring full-time Retail Sales Associates to work afternoon to early evening shifts. At our stores, you will get the chance to work in a friendly and fast-paced environment where you will mainly be asked to perform routine tasks and transactions. Associates will see pay increase by $0.50 after the first 90 days, enjoy flexible scheduling and associate discounts. Once trained, candidates must be able to work at both our Iowa City and North Liberty locations. Reliable transportation that works for you (whether it be personal vehicle, bike, walking, rideshares, or public transit) is necessary. We are not the UPS distribution center. We don't hire drivers or warehouse workers. We don't deliver packages. Operating Hours and Locations: Mon-Fri: 7:30 am - 6:00 pm Saturday: 10:00 am - 4:00 pm Sunday: 10:00 am - 4:00 pm

Responsibilities

:

• deliver outstanding customer service to walk-in customers and telephone inquiries
• process drop-off, shipment, and retail purchase transactions
• packaging shipments to company requirements and standards
• printing, faxing, and scanning documents
• lift and carry packages, including team-lifting heavy items
• stocking retail shelves
• cleaning and organizing the store

Qualifications

:

• prior retail and/or customer service experience preferred
• must be able to provide friendly and accurate customer service
• comfortable asking questions
• reliability is a must
• excellent verbal and written communication skills
• ability to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis
• must have reliable transportation (may include public transportation, biking, etc.) This is NOT a remote position. Pay: From $14.50 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 40.0 per week
