Job Summary

: Once Upon A Child in Bloomington IN is seeking a friendly, dependable, and energetic Sales Associate to join our team! We specialize in buying and selling gently used children's clothing, toys, books, baby gear, and more. If you love working with families, have an eye for quality kids' products, and enjoy a fun retail environment, we'd love to meet you!

Key Responsibilities

:

• Provide excellent customer service by greeting and assisting shoppers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately for purchases, returns, and exchanges.
• Help evaluate and process gently used children's items brought in by customers for resale.
• Ensure that merchandise meets company standards for quality and safety.
• Tag, price, and restock merchandise in an organized and appealing way.
• Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and merchandising standards.
• Stay informed on store promotions and loyalty programs to share with customers.
• Work as part of a team to meet daily operational goals.

Qualifications

:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Retail, resale, or customer service experience is a plus.
• Friendly, outgoing personality with strong communication skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Basic math and computer skills required. Schedule:
• Flexible schedule, PT/FT Hours available, weekend shift requirement, some holidays too. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $10.00 - $13.00 per hour
