Job Summary

The Sales and Marketing Manager plays a critical role in promoting and protecting the TWO MEN AND A TRUCK brand by overseeing daily sales, supervising sales staff, ensuring brand and sales strategy, and delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Oversight

• Review upcoming moves for estimate accuracy and billing
• Review customer reply cards, sales reports, activity reports, and performance data to measure productivity and identify areas for improvement for the crew and the company as a whole
• Perform confirmation calls confirming customer information prior to move date
• Perform post move calls to gather feedback from customers and ensure we exceeded their expectations
• Be the default seller when necessary to to schedule constraints or increased call volume Supervision & Training
• Serve as the direct supervisor for all sales staff within all 4 franchises
• Train new sellers and conduct on-the-job (OTJ) training and retraining as needed
• Administer progressive discipline as needed
• Hold training and group discussions with sales staff to boost team atmosphere and open discussion Marketing
• Come up with marketing plan for assigned territory
• Attend marketing events and wow the crowd with our brand
• Capture sales while at marketing events
• Perform drop-in marketing at local area business to forge new relationships
• Post to social media outlets to build online brand awareness Administrative & Support

Duties

• Assist with administrative tasks including printing job paperwork, close-outs, collecting payments, data entry, filing, and reporting as necessary
• Support the operation as needed
• Staff offices as needed Professional Development
• Participate in ongoing training and development programs through STICK MEN UNIVERSITY
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by the General Manager, or Franchisee Education & Experience
• Bachelor's degree in business, management, or a related field is preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of business, management, or relevant experience required
• Experience with TWO MEN AND A TRUCK or within the moving industry is preferred Skills, Knowledge & Abilities (SKA)
• Extensive knowledge of the TWO MEN AND A TRUCK system, policies, procedures, and moving industry
• Understanding of financial statements and operational metrics
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Exceptional organizational and time management abilities
• Proven ability to lead by example and motivate, develop, and direct employees
• Ability to assess performance and implement improvements or corrective actions
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
• Commitment to customer service excellence and alignment with TWO MEN AND A TRUCK core values
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including:
• Excel
• Word
• Outlook

Working Conditions

Work is primarily performed in an office environment with no unusual hazards. Occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds may be required. Employment is contingent upon meeting all company and brand requirements. Pay: $850.00 - $1,000.00 per week
