Pay: $30.00 per hour PLUS monthly commissions

Job Summary

: We are seeking a skilled and dependable Residential Garage Door Sales Technician to join our growing team. The Sales Technician will be responsible for servicing, repairing, and installing residential garage doors and openers. This position requires mechanical aptitude, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The ability to sell parts and service is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

:

• Diagnose and repair residential garage doors and openers (springs, cables, rollers, tracks, hinges, openers, etc.)
• Perform routine service and preventive maintenance
• Install new garage doors, openers, and accessories according to manufacturer specifications
• Ensure all work is completed safely, accurately, and efficiently
• Communicate with customers to explain repairs, options, and proper maintenance practices
• Maintain accurate job records, time logs, and inventory usage
• Uphold company standards for safety, professionalism, and customer satisfaction
• Load/unload materials and maintain clean and organized work vehicle
• Participate in on-call rotation for emergency service as needed

Qualifications

:

• 1+ years of experience in garage door installation/service and sales (preferred)
• Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Ability to lift 75+ lbs, work on ladders, and operate power tools
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening Preferred Skills (Not Required):
• Experience with LiftMaster, Genie, Clopay, Amarr, Wayne Dalton, or similar systems
• OSHA or manufacturer-specific safety training
• Basic electrical knowledge (for opener wiring and troubleshooting)
