Licensed Insurance Agent Brightway, The Herd Agency (Middleburg, FL) We're Brightway, The Herd Agency a Brightway Insurance franchise based in Middleburg, FL and we're looking for a licensed insurance agent who's hungry, self-motivated, and ready to build something real. We are open to an in-office role and/or a completely remote role. This is a commission-only role there is no base salary. Your income is 100% yours to drive, with no cap on what you can earn. The more you write, the more you make and the policies you write today turn into passive renewal income for years to come.

What You'll Do

Quote and bind personal lines insurance policies homeowners, auto, flood, general liability, and more Build and grow your own book of business Consult with clients to find the right coverage across Brightway's network of 80+ carriers Focus on selling Brightway's internal service team handles policy servicing on the back end What You Earn This is a commission-only position. All commissions are calculated as a percentage of the carrier commission the dollar amount the insurance carrier pays to the agency on each policy. Using agency averages ($2,025 avg premium, 12% avg carrier commission rate): Transaction Your Split Per Policy Example New Business 65% of carrier commission ~$158 per policy written Re-Writes 15% of carrier commission ~$36 per policy re-written Renewals 10% of carrier commission ~$24 per policy renewed Renewal income is passive it keeps coming in every year as long as your policies stay active and you remain with the agency. Your book compounds over time. Income potential by production level (Year 1): 4 policies/week ~$32,800/year 8 policies/week ~$65,700/year 12 policies/week ~$98,600/year Year 2 income grows significantly as your Year 1 book starts renewing. There is no ceiling. Commissions are paid on the 15th and 30th of each month. Recruiting Override Opportunity Once your personal book of business reaches $1,000,000 in gross written premium, you become eligible to bring another licensed agent into the agency and earn an ongoing override on their production, paid by the agency on top of their full commission: New business they write 5% of carrier commission Re-writes they produce 2.5% of carrier commission Renewals they service 2.5% of carrier commission This passive override income compounds as your recruit builds their own book. And if your recruit ever leaves, their entire book of business transfers to you you keep earning 10% renewals on it indefinitely. What We're Looking For Active Florida 20-44 or 2-20 insurance license (required) Self-starter with a sales-driven mindset Strong communication skills and a professional approach to clients Ability to meet a minimum production target of $20,000 in written premium per month (3-month ramp-up grace period provided) Must be able to provide your own computer equipment (Brightway tech team approval required before purchase) This role is for someone who: Wants control of their income, not just earn a paycheck Is ready to put in the work to build long-term passive income Thrives in an independent, performance-driven environment Pay: $33,000.00 - $99,000.00 per year
