Overview

A Japanese food manufacturing company is seeking a motivated Sales Associate to join our team. This role is responsible for building and maintaining strong customer relationships, driving sales of their products, and ensuring high-quality customer service within the assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage customer relationships to maximize business opportunities.
• Travel to customer facilities to provide support, product information, and service.
• Achieve sales goals through proactive customer engagement and territory management.
• Communicate new product and service opportunities, customer needs, and market trends to internal teams.
• Collaborate with accounting, operations, and logistics teams to support sales objectives.
• Prepare timely reports and participate in quarterly inventory counts.

Qualifications

• Language skills: Proficiency in Japanese, Chinese, or Korean plus English.
• High School Diploma / GED required; college degree preferred.
• 12 years of sales experience in the Asian food industry preferred.
• Knowledge of Asian groceries and services.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office); willingness to learn ERP systems (Oracle).
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel.
