We're hiring a Field Sales Agent to work throughout the New Hyde Park area, meeting with current, former, and prospective Verizon customers to introduce wireless products and FiOS services. Every Field Sales Agent receives hands-on training in customer engagement, sales, contract preparation, and advertising campaigns while learning how to build lasting relationships with customers in the field.

Responsibilities

of the Field Sales Agent

• Meet directly with current, former, and prospective Verizon customers to discuss wireless products and home connectivity solutions.
• Represent ongoing advertising campaigns by educating customers about Verizon services, promotions, and available offers.
• Prepare sales agreements, complete service enrollments, and guide customers through the activation process.
• Use a consultative sales approach to recommend solutions that fit each household's communication needs.
• Support local advertising initiatives by creating positive customer experiences during every interaction.
• Maintain accurate records of customer meetings, contracts, and sales activity.
• Collaborate with fellow Field Sales Agents to strengthen advertising efforts and achieve individual and team sales goals.
• Continue developing communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills as a Field Sales Agent.

Qualifications

of the Field Sales Agent

• Previous experience in customer service, retail, hospitality, field marketing, or another customer-facing role is helpful but not required.
• Comfortable meeting with customers throughout the day in residential neighborhoods.
• Strong communication skills with an interest in developing professional sales experience.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn about telecommunications products and advertising strategies.
• Self-motivated, organized, and eager to grow in a performance-driven environment.
• Reliable transportation to our New Hyde Park office and surrounding territories.
• Interested in building a long-term career as a Field Sales Agent while gaining experience in advertising, customer engagement, and sales. Pay: $53,000.00 - $63,000.00 per year Work Location: In person
