Wolf's Mercantile, Livingston's premier shopping destination, seeks a part- time cashier to join our team. We are seeking someone to cashier during the summer months, and winter breaks, with the option to return each summer and winter. The position is perfect for a high school- or college-aged candidate who needs work during the summer and winter breaks. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while accurately processing transactions. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast- paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide assistance as needed.
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system to process transactions efficiently.
• Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions with accuracy.
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
• Assist in stocking shelves and maintaining inventory levels.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations.
• Uphold company policies regarding cash handling and customer service. Experience
• Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
• Strong cash handling skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
• Experience using POS systems is a plus.
• Knowledge of sales techniques is advantageous. . Pay: From $20.00 per hour Shift:
