Pawnshop Sales & Lending Assoc, General Merchandise Location: Best Little Pawn Shop, 806 9th Street, Marble Falls, TX Pay: Starting $16.00 - 18.00 per hour + additional Performance Pay Job Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

:

• Greet customers and provide exceptional service, ensuring a positive experience
• Assist customers with buying, selling, and receiving pawn loans on their items
• Evaluate customer items for potential loans or purchase offers
• Negotiate loan terms and explain associated service fees to customers
• Maintain accurate and organized records of pawned items and transactions
• Handle cash transactions and manage cash register operations
• Collaborate with Team Mmbers to achieve targets and maintain inventory levels
• Keep the store clean, presentable, and properly merchandised
• Handle online sales, including listing items, managing online inventory, and assisting with customer inquiries

Requirements

:

• Possess a High level of knowledge OR the ability to quickly learn about items such as firearms, electronics, jewelry, coins, music, luxury items, tools & engines; including history, grading, valuation, function, assembly/disassembly & maintenance. Maintain knowledge of past & current related product features
• Previous sales or customer service experience preferred
• Knowledge of pawn shop operations and practices is a plus
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
• Detail-oriented with good organizational skills
• Comfortable working with cash and operating a cash register
• Basic computer skills
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Bilingual preferred but not required
• Experience with online sales platforms is a plus Sales skills are required, preferentially those having previous experience in sales.
