Position Summary

The Customer Service Associate (CSA) is the first point of contact for guests at Blue Penguin Car Wash. This role is responsible for creating an exceptional customer experience by greeting customers, assisting with wash selections, promoting membership options, and ensuring smooth, friendly service throughout the customer's visit.

Key Responsibilities

. Customer Interaction

• Warmly greet every customer as they arrive on-site.
• Provide helpful, friendly guidance on available wash packages.
• Answer questions regarding wash features, add-ons, and membership benefits.
• Operate the point-of-sale system to process transactions accurately. Sales & Membership Promotion
• Confidently promote and explain Blue Penguin Membership plans.
• Identify customer needs and recommend the best wash package or membership.
• Meet or exceed daily/weekly membership sales goals.
• Assist customers with new sign-ups, cancellations, upgrades, and account questions. Site Operations & Support
• Direct customers safely into the tunnel when needed.
• Ensure vacuums, customer areas, and the lot remain clean and inviting.
• Perform light cleaning tasks such as emptying trash, wiping down kiosks, or stocking towels.
• Communicate equipment issues or customer concerns to management promptly. Teamwork
• Work closely with fellow CSAs and site leadership to maintain a smooth operation.
• Support tunnel attendants and management during busy periods.
• Maintain a positive, energetic attitude that reflects the Blue Penguin brand.

Requirements

• Strong communication and customer-service skills.
• Friendly, outgoing personality and a positive attitude.
• Ability to stand outdoors and move around the site for extended periods.
• Basic computer and POS system knowledge.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to maintain a professional appearance.
• Must be able to work weekends and peak hours as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior customer service, retail, or sales experience.
• Ability to confidently promote products or memberships.
