Duties and Responsibilities

include but are not limited to:

• Greet and provide assistance to customers
• Answer questions regarding the store and its merchandise
• Clean shelves, counters, and tables
• Compute sales, prices, and total purchases
• Receive and process cash or credit card payment
• Describe merchandise and explain use, operation, and care of merchandise to customers
• Inventory stock and requisition new stock
• Open and close cash registers, performing tasks such as counting money, separating charge slips, coupons, vouchers and balancing cash drawers
• Proficient in cash handling and operating a cash register
• Basic math skills for retail transactions and inventory management
• Watch for and recognize security risks and thefts, and know how to prevent and handle these situations
• Stock shelves and coolers
• Assist in other duties as assigned
• Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $16.00 per hour Expected hours: 32.0 40.0 per week
