What You'll Do

You'll be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for their entire experience.

• Welcome guests with a friendly, confident, and polished presence
• Proactively and confidently engage with passersby, start conversations, and help guests find the perfect sailing experience.
• Sell public sail tickets and private charters
• Check guests in and manage departures smoothly
• Answer phones and respond to inquiries with clear, helpful information
• Share local recommendations and enhance the guest experience
• Process transactions and manage daily sales
• Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting front desk space
• Support day-to-day operations and team coordination
• Occasionally assist with capturing content or photos on the boats

Who You Are

• Naturally outgoing, warm, and engaging
• Professional, reliable, and detail-oriented
• Comfortable speaking with a wide range of guests
• Quick-thinking and able to stay calm in a fast-paced environment
• Interested in hospitality, tourism, or sales
• Excited to work outdoors in a waterfront setting
• Familiar with Newport or eager to learn
• Available for a mix of shifts, including weekends and evenings
• Able to work through the season (Now-October)
