We are growing!! Freightliner-Western Star of Maine is seeking enthusiastic, organized, and hard-working individuals to join our team. Come and join a winning team that extends from Westbrook to Fort Kent. Our Westbrook location has been serving customers for over 20 years. We are looking for a self starting, motivated individual to help our business thrive and expand. Pay will depend on experience.

Responsibilities

:

• Contacting customers through phone calls and in-person visits as necessary
• Build and maintain working relationships with customers
• Prepare and present sales proposals and quotes
• Represent the company respectfully
• Restock parts and materials as needed
• Fill orders from inventory
• Examine returned goods for credit
• Billing cash and charge customers
• Correspond with shipping and receiving regarding deliveries coming in or going out
• Inspecting, protecting and maintaining company assets, merchandise, vehicles, building
• Participate in physical inventories

Requirements

:

• MUST have a good driving record
• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds on a regular basis
• Reliable transportation or planning for relocation before starting
• Familiar with basic component identification and parts numbers
• Familiarity with heavy truck or automotive systems (Example:Engines, drive-trains, suspensions, etc.)
• Ability to read and comprehend written or oral instructions, correspondence and memos
• Ability to write and clarify information to fellow co-workers and/or customers
• Ability to deal with problems involving several variables in standardized situations
• Parts knowledge is helpful
