We operate 8 locations across 5 states and specialize in Utility refrigerated trailers, dry vans, flatbeds, multiple lines of construction trailers, and Ottawa spotter trucks. Job Summary

The Outside Trailer Sales Representative is responsible for managing the full sales cycle, building strong customer relationships, and delivering an exceptional customer experience. This role combines outside sales activity with disciplined pipeline management and collaboration across departments.

Responsibilities

• Achieve annual and quarterly sales and margin goals
• Forecast monthly sales using CRM tools
• Respond to all customer inquiries and assigned leads within 4 hours
• Conduct monthly customer visits within assigned territory
• Accompany customers through trailer inventory and ensure safety on company property
• Cover scheduled phone and floor days as required
• Maintain product, pricing, and competitor knowledge
• Manage sales transactions from quote through delivery
• Perform trailer walkarounds prior to delivery
• Personally deliver sold trailers when possible
• Complete delivery documentation using Record360
• Submit monthly expense reports
• Collaborate with Finance, Marketing, Parts, Service, and Rental teams

Qualifications

• Previous semi-trailer sales experience preferred
• Outside or B2B sales experience preferred
• Strong communication and customer relationship skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• CRM experience for pipeline and forecasting
• Organized, professional, and detailoriented
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
• Ability to travel locally
