Duties

• Engage with prospective clients through outside sales efforts, including community events, networking, and direct outreach to generate leads and build relationships.
• Conduct thorough needs analysis to identify client requirements and recommend suitable life insurance policies that align with their financial goals.
• Negotiate policy terms and premiums effectively to close sales while ensuring customer satisfaction and compliance with company guidelines.
• Manage sales administration tasks such as maintaining accurate records of client interactions, policy details, and follow-up activities.
• Utilize marketing strategies to promote insurance products across various channels, including telemarketing campaigns and digital outreach.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client questions, explaining policy features clearly, and assisting with benefits administration processes.
• Stay informed about industry regulations such as HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) to ensure all client information is handled securely and ethically.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in outside sales, retail sales, or telemarketing with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
• Strong negotiation skills coupled with excellent communication abilities to build rapport and close deals effectively.
• Multilingual or bilingual capabilities are highly desirable to serve diverse client populations better.
• Familiarity with sales administration tools, marketing techniques, and analysis skills to evaluate market trends and customer needs.
• Knowledge of insurance sales processes, benefits administration, and customer service best practices within the insurance industry.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and organizational skills.
