General Manager (Sales & Operations) Altered Athletics North Scottsdale, AZ (Remote and In-Person) This is not a typical gym management role. At Altered Athletics, we are building a women's-only strength training brand focused on delivering real transformations through structured programming, accountability, and community. We are expanding and we are looking for a General Manager to take ownership of one of our locations and play a key role in scaling the business. This is a leadership role for someone who is equally strong in:

• grow into a senior leadership role as we expand You won't just be managing a gym you'll be helping build a scalable business. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Sales & Revenue Growth
• Manage all incoming leads and oversee the sales process
• Conduct intro sessions and convert prospects into members
• Track and report KPIs (leads, show rate, close rate, retention)
• Execute outreach strategies (calls, texts, and follow-ups)
• Drive monthly membership growth targets Operations Management
• Oversee all day-to-day operations of the facility
• Manage CRM systems (Mindbody + Lead Connector)
• Handle scheduling, billing, and client management
• Ensure a clean, organized, and professional facility
• Manage inventory, apparel, and equipment Client Experience & Retention
• Oversee onboarding process and client journey
• Conduct results reviews and exit interviews
• Implement retention strategies and improve member experience
• Maintain high client satisfaction and community engagement Marketing & Growth Initiatives
• Execute email, SMS, and CRM campaigns
• Support social media and community engagement
• Coordinate events, challenges, and partnerships
• Manage local sponsorship activations Team Leadership
• Instill high standards of client experience
• Foster a strong, positive team culture
• Hold team accountable to performance metrics WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR You're a strong fit if you:
• Have 1+ year of sales experience (fitness, hospitality, or service-based preferred)
• Have 3+ years of operations or leadership experience
• Are confident in closing and building relationships
• Are highly organized and detail-oriented
• Thrive in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment

• Base Salary + Commission
