Full description of the position

Position: Sales Rep (Japanese or Chinese Bilingual) Industry: Japanese Wholesaler Location: Charlotte, NC Employment Type: Direct-Hire, Exempt Salary Range: $48k - (DOE)

• Meet the monthly and annual sales quota as designated by the manager.
• Develop and maintain relationships with potential and existing clients
• Visit customers to provide support, share information, and sell the Company's products.
• Identify and explore potential new clients through various methods, including networking, referrals, and cold calls.
• Conduct market research, develop and implement sales strategies for the assigned region.
• Coordinate with the accounting department to ensure the collection of payments in a timely manner.
• Collect past due payments from customers.
• Collaborate with the purchasing department, warehouse, and other involved parties to confirm that orders are processed with accuracy and efficiency and that products are distributed properly.
• Travel to other locations to meet with clients as needed.
• Educate customers on how the products or services can benefit them.

Requirements

• Business-level English and Chinese bilingual ability is required.
• Maintain a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Able to stay overnight out of town for client visits, as required.
• Able to work independently and as a team.
• High school diploma required; Associate degree and above strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience, preferably in the Japanese food industry.
• Experience in the Japanese and Asian restaurant business is a plus. Physical

Requirements

• Able to drive for extended periods of time.
• Able to talk, hear, walk, stand, smell, taste, reach, bend, kneel
• lift and/or move up to 25 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
• Visiting customers, restaurants, wholesalers, distributors, etc.
• Possess basic mathematical knowledge such as markups, discounts, counting inventory, weight and measurement conversions, combining, etc.
• Strong customer service, problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic Microsoft Office proficiency and Microsoft Business Central is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of Japanese, Asian foods and liquors strongly preferred. Company car and 401(k) plan provided. Pay: $48,000.00 - $58,000.00 per year
