Overview

We are a Master Distributor of Blue Bunny Ice Cream, serving all of western Pa. Join our dynamic team as a DSD Driver / Sales Representative, where you will be the vital link between our company and our valued customers. You will be responsible for delivering products efficiently, maintaining excellent customer service, and identifying sales opportunities along your route. Duties

• Safely operate commercial trucks to deliver products to retail stores and clients following DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and safe lifting practices.
• Manage route driving efficiently, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to traffic laws and safety standards.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships through professional communication, prompt service, and upselling additional products or services when appropriate.
• Conduct merchandising activities at retail locations, including product placement, inventory checks, and promotional displays.
• Perform heavy lifting and automobile transportation tasks using proper techniques to prevent injury and ensure product integrity.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and sales records to support organizational efficiency.
• Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding delivery schedules, product availability, or any issues encountered during routes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in commercial truck driving, retail store operations, or military logistics roles is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of pricing strategies, basic math skills for transactions and inventory management, and familiarity with upselling techniques.
• Excellent communication skills for client interaction, route coordination, and team collaboration.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while following proper lifting practices.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations governing commercial driving, safety standards, and vehicle maintenance requirements.
• Demonstrated organizational skills to manage routes efficiently and keep accurate records.
