Description Waddle Exteriors is hiring an Exterior Remodeling Sales Representative to join our growing team in the Des Moines, IA market. This is a great opportunity for an experienced home improvement sales, roofing sales, siding sales, gutter sales, or exterior remodeling sales professional who knows how to build a pipeline, close retail projects, and handle insurance opportunities when they come in. In this role, you will meet with homeowners, sell residential exterior projects, and help customers make confident decisions about their roofing, siding, gutters, and exterior remodeling needs. We are looking for a motivated, self-driven sales professional who can generate business, manage customer relationships, and take ownership of the full sales process. What You'll Do

• Run homeowner appointments for roofing, siding, gutter, and exterior remodeling projects
• Sell retail residential exterior projects from consultation through close
• Self-generate leads through networking, referrals, local prospecting, and community relationships
• Follow up with homeowners and manage your sales pipeline
• Work insurance-related opportunities when they are available
• Build trust with customers by clearly explaining options, pricing, timelines, and next steps
• Partner with production and operations teams to help ensure a smooth customer experience
• Manage projects from sale through completion
• Maintain accurate notes, updates, and customer information in company systems
• Represent Waddle Exteriors professionally in the Des Moines market

Who You Are

• You have experience in exterior remodeling, roofing, siding, gutters, windows, construction, home improvement, or in-home sales
• You are comfortable selling directly to homeowners
• You know how to generate your own leads and build a book of business
• You are confident running appointments, presenting solutions, and closing sales
• You have strong communication and follow-up skills
• You are self-motivated, organized, and comfortable managing your own schedule
• You can build long-term relationships with homeowners, referral partners, and local contacts
• You are comfortable with both retail sales and insurance opportunities
• You have a valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record
• You take ownership, follow through, and want to be rewarded for your results Preferred experience:
• 35+ years of exterior remodeling, roofing, siding, gutter, window, construction, or home improvement sales experience
• Proven success selling residential exterior projects
• Experience selling $500K+ in annual retail home improvement or exterior remodeling sales
• Insurance restoration or storm restoration sales experience is a plus, but not required
