Family- owned Truck Center Companies is one of America's largest Freightliner dealers. Founded in 1975, the Omaha, Nebraska based dealership has grown to 17 locations in Nebraska, Iowa, Kansas and Minnesota with over 1100 employees. We are currently looking for an Outside Parts Sales Representative for our Des Moines, IA dealership. The shift will be Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Basic Qualifications

:

• Must be capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Must have excellent communication skills.
• Must have a valid driver's license. PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS:
• Project a positive, helpful and professional attitude toward our customer.
• Resolve any customer disputes in a manner both beneficial to customer and TCC.
• Answer incoming customer phone calls promptly and politely.
• Make calls by phone or in person to existing and prospective customers in the dealership's Area of Responsibility.
• Continually review existing sales additions to routes for efficiency and cost effectiveness of expenses sales
• Define customers' parts needs.
• Continually review sales routes to ensure customers are being called on and new customers are being actively pursued in the market place.
• Promote additional sales to customers by suggesting additional parts or services related to current purchase.
• Deliver parts ordered by customer.
• Maintain an accurate inventory of the mobile warehouses.
• Assist with inside sales duties on rotation schedule or when requested by parts manager.
• Obtain sufficient information from customer or service technician to ensure correct part is specified.
