About the role The Tier 1 Technician is a sales-focused HVAC role responsible for diagnosing system issues, presenting solutions, and closing replacement or major repair opportunities. This position primarily supports other technicians by running tech-generated leads (TGLs) and serving as a senior resource in the home. Key Responsibilities

• Respond to tech-generated leads (TGLs) (target: 50%+ of calls)
• Diagnose HVAC systems and identify replacement or major repair opportunities
• Present solutions and close sales in the home
• Act as a second opinion / senior technician presence for customers
• Coordinate with dispatch to schedule installs at time of sale
• Maintain a professional, consultative approach with customers
• Support training and development of Tier 2 technicians through field interaction
• Utilize downtime to follow up on leads and generate additional opportunities

Minimum Qualifications

• 5+ years HVAC experience
• Strong diagnostic and system knowledge
• Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly with customers
• Strong understanding of HVAC components and repair processes
• Proven sales record (Minimum of $1.5 million annual sales)
• Effectively convert internal leads into booked installs Pay: $150,000.00 - $300,000.00 per year
