Overview

Harwood Consulting is looking for a Counter Sales Representative who is self- motivated, goal oriented, and dedicated to achieving sales goals. The Counter Sales Rep will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and responding to customer inquiries in a timely manner. This position requires a strong sense of urgency and the ability to work well under pressure. This position requires heavy lifting! The position is Warehouse based in Pinson, Alabama and is a Monday thru Friday first shift position. The owner provides staff with the opportunity to make 10-15 hours overtime per week.

Essential Duties

Ensuring all orders are received and processed within the required time frame. Communicating with customers regarding order status, product availability, and other relevant information. Providing excellent customer service by answering any questions or making recommendations based on any given customer's needs. Preparing purchase orders and shipping orders as required. Providing assistance to the restocking team as needed. Maintaining a positive attitude and team work culture while working with all team members to ensure an efficient flow of information throughout the day. Performing other duties as assigned by management or Sales Manager. Experience: 2 years of experience in a counter sales environment preferred but not required. Knowledge of the counter trade preferred but not required. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills (verbal & written) with an ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management, customers, vendors, etc. (ex: phone calls, emails, etc). Job Type: Full-time Pay: $47,500.00 - $56,500.00 per year
