At Sety's Ace Hardware, A Sales Associate provides "helpful" customer service by greeting customers, solving project problems, and offering product recommendations. Key duties include operating POS systems, stocking merchandise, maintaining store cleanliness, and promoting loyalty programs, with a focus on product knowledge in hardware, paint, plumbing, lawn and garden, or electrical.

Key Responsibilities

: Customer Service (S.A.L.E.S Process): Proactively greet and assist customers to find products, ensuring a positive experience. Store Operations: Stock shelves, receive new inventory, create displays, and maintain a clean store. Sales & POS: Accurately process transactions, handle cash/cards, and promote Ace Rewards. Safe daily operation of equipment such as pallet jacks, paint mixers and shakers, key cutting machine, power equipment, etc. Product Knowledge: Develop expertise in hardware, tools, paint, plumbing, and electrical to assist with DIY projects. Safety & Security: Maintain a safe environment and follow loss prevention procedures. Job

Requirements

: Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods (6-8 hours) and lift up to 60 lbs. Safely utilize ladders and step stools. Communication: Strong verbal skills to interact with customers and team members. Appropriately utilize in store communication devices, such as phones and radios. Reliability: Dependable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours, including weekends.
