Job market Birmingham Office-based Are you a high-performing sales executive with a deep understanding and experience in selling IT services? My client, a Tier 2 tech services firm, is looking for a Sales Director to join their team and drive business development and client acquisition in the Birmingham area.

Key Responsibilities

:

• Lead client acquisition efforts as a sales executive.
• Achieve revenue growth by expanding key accounts.
• Drive sales of IT services.
• Utilize your experience in the Alabama market, with additional knowledge of Georgia, Tennessee, Florida, and Mississippi being a plus.
• Sell enterprise services (Integration, Analytics, Managed Services) and digital transformation services (IoT, Big Data & Cloud, Mobility, etc.).
• Apply a consultative approach to software solution sales.
• Leverage your local market knowledge and strong network of contacts/accounts.
• Deliver value-based, outcome-driven solution sales.
• Exhibit strong leadership, interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Manage a wide variety of IT and business consulting engagements.
• Consistently achieve and exceed sales quotas year-over-year.

Qualifications

:

• 10-15 years of experience in sales, specifically in IT services.
• Proven track record in client acquisition and business development.
• Extensive knowledge of the Alabama market. (Additional experience in AL, Mississipi and GA markets is a plus)
• Experience in selling enterprise and digital transformation services.
• Strong consultative sales approach.
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
