Responsibilities

• Identify customer needs through active listening and suggest appropriate upselling opportunities to maximize sales.
• Manage route driving efficiently while adhering to DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and safety standards.
• Conduct merchandising activities, including product displays, inventory checks, and ensuring proper signage.
• Handle heavy lifting and safe lifting practices when transporting merchandise or equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities, route logs, and customer interactions for organizational purposes.
• Utilize basic math skills for pricing calculations, discounts, and transaction processing.
• Demonstrate knowledge of automobile transportation, commercial truck driving, and related regulations to ensure compliance during deliveries or pickups.
• Foster positive customer relationships by providing exceptional service in retail environments or client locations.

Requirements

• Proven experience in retail sales or customer service roles is preferred; experience in automotive transportation or military service is a plus.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience with commercial truck driving is advantageous.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations, safe lifting practices, and heavy lifting techniques.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
• Basic math proficiency for pricing, upselling, and transaction accuracy.
• Organizational skills to manage routes efficiently and keep detailed records of sales activities.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting and standing for extended periods.
• Familiarity with merchandising standards and route driving logistics.
