Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and customer-focused Flooring Sales Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the key driver of flooring sales, providing expert guidance to clients through every stage of their renovation or remodeling projects. Your passion for design, construction, and customer service will help transform spaces and create lasting relationships. You will utilize your knowledge of layout design, and interior aesthetics to recommend the perfect flooring solutions while upselling complementary products. Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to understand their flooring needs and provide tailored product recommendations based on their renovation or remodeling projects.
• Demonstrate product features through live demos and detailed explanations, emphasizing quality and design benefits.
• Utilize SketchUp, CAD, or other layout design tools to assist clients in visualizing flooring options within their spaces.
• Negotiate pricing and terms confidently while maintaining a focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
• Manage inside sales transactions accurately using Quickbooks, including cash handling and retail math calculations.
• Collaborate with team members on merchandising strategies, stock management, and marketing initiatives to drive sales growth.
• Provide expert advice on interior aesthetics, and maintenance tips for long-lasting results.
• Maintain organized records of account management activities and customer interactions for follow-up and future sales opportunities. Experience
• Proven experience in outside sales or retail sales within the renovation, construction, or interior design industry is highly preferred.
• Direct experience working in a flooring store, specializing in tile is a plus.
• Familiarity with SketchUp, CAD software, or other layout design tools to assist clients visually plan their projects.
• Strong negotiation skills coupled with excellent communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse clientele and labor force.
• Knowledge of sales techniques and experience in upselling premium flooring products.
• Background in remodeling, renovation projects, or construction environments is advantageous.
• Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts effectively and efficiently.
