Career Opportunity: Land Acquisition Associate Synergy Structures | NC & SC | Field-Based | Full-Time, Part-Time, or Contract Considered Synergy Structures is seeking a highly motivated, relationship-driven Land Acquisition Associate to help evaluate vacant lot and land opportunities that support our rapidly growing residential initiatives. You'll work directly with company leadership and production team, gain exposure to every aspect of the acquisition process, and play a meaningful role in expanding our footprint across North Carolina, South Carolina, and beyond. We're open to structuring this role as full-time, part-time, or an independent contract arrangement for the right person. This is primarily a field-based role. You'll spend most of your time driving to, walking and evaluating properties not sitting at a desk.

Position Summary

As a Land Acquisition Associate you will assist in evaluating and securing land and finished lot opportunities for future residential builds throughout North Carolina and South Carolina. You will spend considerable time driving from the mountains to the beach evaluating identified lots to confirm they should be acquired and built on. The ideal candidate is highly organized, self-motivated, professional, and comfortable working alone. No two days are alike, making this an exciting position with significant opportunities for growth. Primary

Responsibilities

• Assist with identifying finished lot and land acquisition opportunities suitable for modular and/or park model home construction
• Physically evaluate lots in person for construction readiness, including utility availability (water, sewer/septic, power), road access, zoning compatibility, setbacks, and site conditions
• Build relationships with landowners, brokers, developers, engineers, surveyors, and municipalities
• Coordinate introductory meetings with prospective sellers and conduct preliminary pricing and comparable-sales analysis
• Coordinate due diligence with internal and external consultants, including surveys, soil evaluations, and utility confirmations
• Track lot inventory and acquisition opportunities using CRM and project management software
• Attend property inspections, municipal meetings, and networking events

Qualifications

Preferred qualifications include:

• Experience welcome at every level from motivated recent graduates we can train, to seasoned professionals with years in real estate, residential development, brokerage, construction, or land acquisition
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational and time management abilities
• Comfortable networking and building professional relationships
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM software
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation, with the ability to travel regularly throughout North Carolina and South Carolina The Ideal Candidate We're looking for someone who is:
